I previously posted about how I lost my coffee virginity to The Colombia at Morgan's Mill. That sounded a bit naughty. Sorry not sorry -- guess that's a saying now? What I have yet to write, is my experiences with the joint itself.
Morgan's Mill brings the city-like hipster vibe to the small town of Woodland. A place I find myself returning more times than needed. Not only for the waffles but the rustic decor, which represents Woodland perfectly.

Morgan's Mill opened its doors in June of 2017 in the old Globe Rice Mill on Court Street in the small town of Woodland, Ca. Owner, James Morgan, has brought a different atmosphere and new sense of coffee enjoyment to this small town. The old mill is a perfect setting with its brick walls, curved doorways, and large windows. The simplicity of the rustic decor gives it a bachelor-like pad feeling with the barrel bins, deep seating leather couches and metallic tables. It is great to see local artists showcase their artwork in the dim low lighting.
The waffles are a signature dish, here at Morgan's Mill, which can be made a variety of ways. Entimos Coffee Roasters partnered with James to bring exotic flavors for those who seek great tasteful coffee.
You can find local beer and wine on tap and in a glass, for anyone needing an early mid-day snack. No judgement here! There are an assortments of loose leaf teas, as well as gluten free food options (Avodcado Toast on Gluten-Free Bread!!). Try the Kombucha Beer, I'm always drooling for more. And lastly, the staff, who are by far the some of the nicest and friendliest in town.
Whether you are passing through or studying for finals, come support small local businesses and grab a cup of coffee!
